Silkenfest is the name for the International Silken Windhound Society's national specialty event, which has steadily grown in participation over the years since its inaugural event held in March of 1999.
The ISWS now has a planning committee for this event, and applications for hosting the event are taken by the committee after the conclusion of the year's event. If you are interested in applying to host or submit a site for consideration for Silkenfest, you may use this Hosting Questionnaire.
Silkenfest 2008 will be held at the King Mountain Ranch in Granby, CO from Wednesday, June 4 through Sunday June 8. Group Pricing is $100 per person per night for adults and $85 for youth. This assumes at least double occupancy of the lodge rooms. What's included for the price is lodging, three quality meals per day, and use of the Ranch grounds for our venues.
